USC Testnet

Privacy policy

Last updated 6 October 2026.

The operator of this site is Mikhail Kartavchenko, New York, NY, United States. Contact about privacy: mk5303@columbia.edu.

1. The short version

This site has no accounts, no analytics, no advertising and no tracking pixels, and it sets no cookies. The only form is the application form for protocols, described in section 5. Apart from that, the only personal data involved is what any website visit and any blockchain transaction necessarily expose, described below.

2. What the site itself stores

Three small values are kept in your browser: one records that you accepted the notice in the app (deleted when you close the tab), one records which wallet addresses have already added the USC network, so the setup is not offered twice, and one keeps a copy of the public chain activity already read for a connected wallet, so it is not read again. None of them ever leaves your device. Details are on the cookies and storage page.

3. Who else sees your requests

The site loads no fonts, scripts or images from other companies. Its code library (ethers.js) is served from this site.

4. What is public forever

Any transaction you sign is recorded permanently on a public blockchain, with your wallet address, amounts and times. Anyone can read it, and nobody, including the operator, can delete it. Do not put personal information in any transaction field.

5. Email and the protocol application form

If you email the operator, the message and your address are used only to reply and are not shared.

If a protocol applies for a line on the protocols page, what the form contains (protocol name, website, contact email, the details given) is stored with Cloudflare, with the time and the country the request came from, and is used only to assess and answer the application. To limit abuse, the sender's IP address is kept for one hour. Ask at the address below to have an application deleted.

6. Your rights

Depending on where you live, you may have rights to access, correct or delete personal data held about you. Because this site holds nothing beyond the hosting logs and any application described above, most requests can be answered quickly. Write to mk5303@columbia.edu. On-chain data cannot be deleted by anyone.

7. Children

The site is not intended for anyone under 18.

8. Changes

If this policy changes, the date at the top will change. A material change, such as adding analytics, would be announced on the home page first.
