Savings rate for a new deposit

Support is the second figure divided by the third, and it is the one figure the protocol acts on: below 1.30x it borrows ETH for the Treasury, above 1.50x it repays. USC locked in savings, in matched pools or held for undrawn crisis lines cannot be redeemed now, so it is left out. ETH borrowed on Compound is shown below, under Borrowed on Compound. Why

Backing against the lines

Below 1.30 the protocol borrows ETH and brings it back to 1.40. Above 1.50 it repays.

Where the ETH is

On Sepolia. Your ETH never leaves it. Part stays ready; the rest is staked through Lido and posted to Compound so the protocol can borrow against it.

What backs USC

On chain 9000. The Treasury holds a claim on the ETH (mETH) and CAPE. New USC is minted against 80% ETH and 20% CAPE; redemptions pay the mix it holds.

The savings pot

Deposits are locked for 180 days. Part of the pot is lent to the business lines attached to it, paired pools and crisis lines, always for no longer than the deposits behind it. A loss falls on the rewards set aside first, before savers' deposits.

The bridge check

Every USC.e on Sepolia must be matched by a USC the bridge holds on chain 9000. Both sides are read right now.
